I grew up playing softball, but when that ended, I wasn’t sure how to stay active. I wanted a challenge, so I started CrossFit, where I learned the basics of strength training. Later, I joined the Marine Corps, where I built mental toughness and discipline. Even though I love being active, I’ve struggled with binge eating, undereating, weight fluctuations, and staying consistent in the gym. It took me time to figure out what actually worked for my body instead of just following trends.
As a 5’1" thick Latina from a family with unhealthy habits, I knew I had to break the cycle. Learning how to fuel my body with proper nutrition and effective training changed everything.
